We are currently recruiting for an ambitious candidate to work and learn with us at The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust. We are looking for a candidate passionate about learning catering skills to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, dealing directly with students and staff members. We pride ourselves on ensuring all students and staff are given a healthy, nutritious meal each day, served by a friendly familiar face! Apprenticeship Summery
We are looking for someone who will maintain excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene, ensuring compliance to procedures, menu specifications and recipes. You will produce food meeting portion controls, and budgetary constraints and adapt and produce dishes to meet special dietary, religious and allergenic requirements. You will need to be able to and learn to follow, complete and maintain production schedules, legislative and quality standard documentation and use specialist kitchen equipment. You will need to communicate internally and externally with staff and students, whilst being committed to personal development activities.
