August 2016 has seen the first set of GCSE results for De Salis Studio College. We are delighted to share with you some of our headline success figures.
Ofsted measure a school’s Year 11 outcomes by the percentage of those students achieving 5 A*-C Level 2 qualifications (usually GCSEs) including mathematics and English. For De Salis, this figure will be one of the highest in the borough at 86%. Even more impressively, 91% of our students achieved their mathematics GCSE and again 91% achieved single and double science. 68% of those studying double science achieved either an A*, A or B. 86% of our Year 11 students achieved their English GCSEs. Every student studying languages succeeded; the language examinations taken included French, German, Russian and Punjabi. It is a tribute to our students’ hard work that 86% of our Year 11 students achieved at least one A* or A grade.
